Unisex Jewellery Experiments

I decided to show the jewellery pieces a bit differently, so i used a male model instead of a female one as i thought that it puts the idea of it being unisex across clearly.
The pieces them selves are experiments of how my jewellery pieces would look like, they take on what ever shape that the person wearing it wants. they can be twisted turned worn around the neck or arund the arm and so on.
So i am trying to make them as diverse as they can be whit the shapes that i have created.
I think that i am happy with the pieces which i have created considering that they are only experiments and prototypes.
I am going to continue developing the idea of making jewellery pieces.

At the moment i like to call them "Twisted neck pieces"

Living Inside the Box: Creative Eco-Friendly Design Using Shipping Containers

Most of us have seen a tower of shipping containers at least once in our life. Throughout the US there are over 700,000 abandoned shipping containers. As the US moves away from being a manufacturing economy, we receive many more of these containers than we use to export goods, creating a surplus of containers that, well, don’t contain anything. Reusing them for importing more goods is inefficient, since it’s usually less expensive to manufacture a new container than to reuse an old one. Thus we are left with man-made mountains of empty steel boxes sitting in shipyards across the United States.

As the world scrambles for ways to become greener, people are looking for ideas for recycling these old containers, and putting them to some good use. With the help of some creative entrepreneurs and architects, these cocoons of the industrial age are undergoing a metamorphosis into portable stores, emergency housing, and luxury homes. The box of found video tapes.

Last November i came across a box or tow of old video tapes which were going to be thrown away, so i took them.
the box inspired me and made me wonder of the possibility's of what they could be reused as, turned in to.
I found my self wondering of where they had came from who throw them away why were they now classed as rubbish and what was on the video tapes?
The video tapes played on my mind for a while untill i decided to investigate them more. . . . . . . . .. . . . . . .. .. .

It takes one-sixth of a gallon of petroleum to produce a single half-inch VHS tape (almost a gallon to produce one television and broadcast-standard tape.)
VHS tape shells are made from engineered resin that can't be "reused."
